Yeah the Ryder Cup IS a good watch, but you have to really love golf to watch it every weekend, and not just tourneys like that.

If it wasn't for the America's Cup, the Viaduct area of Auckland wouldn't have been developed, so I'm thankful for it in that respect.
But it's been shit for years now - actually since that "regatta" when NZ A (NZ) raced against NZ B (Switzerland), and NZ B won.

Anything that involves horses (although chariot racing looks like it might have been a good watch)

Tennis is tucking dreadful. Rugby League abysmal and Union not much better.
I was actually in NZ during the 2003 Americas Cup. It was then I realised what an insignificant country it was as they embarrassingly went over the top supporting it like it was the only thing they'd ever won. They lost 5-0 and the boat sank in the first race. I laughed and it was still shit.

Not talking about America's Cup etc, more the smaller classes like the 49ers for example. Fast, tactical and good to watch.
But then, I'll watch most sports apart from anything "rhythmic" or involving the racing of animals.
Apart from camel racing, that's ace.
